Chapter 4 – WordPress – Setup the Database

After successful installed XAMPP, we need to prepare a Database for WordPress

Start the Apache and MySQL Service
Click on the Admin button on MySQL service to go to the phpAdmin page

Click on Database tab

In the database creating, fill in:
+Database name: mywordpressdb
+Charset: utf8_unicode_ci
Click on Create button to create a new DB name mywordpressdb

If the DB is created successful, you will see it is listed on the left panel at the DB listing.
